Working for the KRO programma Netwerk was so much appreciated by them that we were asked back a few weeks later for another KRO programme.
We were asked to work on a programme called 'Wonderen Bestaan', 'miracles do happen'.
The episode was about the story of a gentleman valled Wunderink who during the was was almost executed by the Germans.

For the programme we arranged props, German soldiers, and gave historical advice on the set.
The programme will be broadcasted on Channel 1 this summer

May 1940, Holland is at war.
The young Wunderink and his mother and sister are on the run for the fighting.

German soldiers are in the area, Wundering and his friend hide.

A officer finds them hiding inside, he thinks they were the ones shooting at his unit earlier.
When he finds a Dutch metal bicycle tax tag on one of the boys he thinks its a military ID tag and asumes the boys are Dutch deserted soldiers.

The boys are taken outside to be shot.

The soldiers aim.

The officer is about to give the order to open fire.

Then the young Winderink asks the officer if he can write a farewell note to his mother and sister, the content of the letter reminds the officer of his own family situation and he desides not to shoot the boys.

The German soldiers were provided by Studygroup and Living History Association 3.Kom 60.PzGrReg 116.PzDiv Der Windhund.
The only proffesional German reenactment group in the Netherlands we work with.

Soon we were asked back to help recreate another miracle.
This time the story was about two girls taking a journey shortly after the war.
As the production team said; "Even when its not about the 1930's or 1940's, we know you can always help us!"
For this episode we managed to find a few very difficult to find props and the perfect location.

The girls about to start their journey.

Catching a ride.
