The
HAB3045 was invited to take part in remembering the German capitulation
in Wageningen, 60 years ago.
With our actors and other groups we recreated the actual capitulation
on the evening of may 4th, on the square in front of Hotel de Wereld.
German soldiers arrived in a kubelwagen with their white flag, allied
soldiers came from the other side, together with 'Prince Bernhard'.
Our reconstruction was a huge success with the thousands of visitors
on the square that night.
The following day our actors were hosts at the
honorary veterans tribune, meeting and looking after
Canadian veterans.
A great and unique event, a honour to take part
in.
To thank us we were given the 60th anniversary
badge and many thanks and presents from the veterans we looked after.
