The 20th century was a time of conflict and wars, many of the productions we are asked to help are situated in one of the two world wars.
When you work on a project with a military subject its essential to have every little detail right. Todays viewer is more critical and better informed then ever befire and mistakes will be spotted by many.

Because so many productions get this wrong we have set up a special department just to concentrate on the military aspect of the 20th century.
These researchers often have a military background, they know the drill, they know uniforms, weapons and army vehicles.
Actors will need training, research needs to be done to name vehicles and weapons correctly, uniforms need to be inspected.
In pre-production they can answer all your questions, on location they can give advice directly, help you avoid mistakes or train your actors.
Make your actors look like real soldiers instead of actors pretending to be soldiers.

Because we only use researchers who have a passion for the subject we can be sure that they have a unique insight and that they do more then just check a few websites and read a few books when you request their assistance.
They talk to eyewitnesses, visit battlefields, try on the uniforms, sometimes they even spend time in a trench, shoot old weapons or go on long marches.

The First World War

Our WWI specialist Taff has been giving historical advice on many projects for quite some time now and has gathered an enormous amount of unique knowledge and experience.
Using his extensive library of original training manuals he has trained actors and extras and taught them the intricacies of Foot and Rifle Drill - which, contrary to popular belief, varies considerably between Boer War, Great War, Second World War and Post War periods.
Besides being a source of information, we can even provide you with a complete recreated flexible trench system in East Anglia - just over an hour out of London and easily accessible.
Even reproductions of uniforms and all sorts of other props like packaging or paperwork from the era can be created for your productions.

The Second World War

We have several researchers ready to help you with your projects concerning the Second World War, they all have their own specialization and interests.
They can help you with any question you may have concerning every military aspect of this war.
We are proud to be able to offer you information on not just all the well known armies but also on armies whos story is often overlooked, like our own Dutch army.
Our researchers can put you into contact with veterans, show you around battlefields, help you get original uniforms and other unique material.
