The History of Healt Care festival turned the
old city of Utrecht upside down, troughout the streets large Living
History groups were recreated the medical past.
The VHM, a Living History group we often work together with, had a
unique display, for the audience they recreated a Second World War
field hospital.
We were asked to create a soundtrack for the old radio they placed
on the ward.
Patients in a 1944 hospital have to hear a 1944 radio broadcast, not
only is this good for the patients, it completes the historical setting.
The soundtrack we made sounded just like a proper 1944 broadcast with
music, newsflashes, etc.
The hospital looked amazing and the playing radio completed the Historically
correct feeling.
